Amari Russell was born and raised in Pembroke Pines, Florida. A few creative outlets he does consist of screenwriting, acting, directing, and editing. "Obscure" is a short film he made that got accepted into the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival and the Orlando Film Festival along with a few others. It received two awards for Best Mobile Short Film.
